Especially, if children are around it is advisable to use these lanterns at a certain height.

Battery operated lanterns are one of the latest types of paper lanterns that do not have any wiring or risk of fire associated with it. Easy usage, low maintenance, and safety are the prime features that have made these lanterns a popular choice.

Not all these lanterns are made of white paper. You can easily find a large number of paper lanterns in a variety of colors. Some paper lanterns also have different patterns drawn on them. For instance, oriental patterns with the inscription of Chinese characters are one of the most common patterns used in these lanterns.
