As wedding planning checklist is important so is the planning to arrange a bridal shower, believe me there are countless wedding shower games you can play. All games are played to have some fun with the bride just to make memorable her last days before wedding. Some games are funny some are silly but each game has its own fun.
An interesting game is a quiz game in which bride is asked some questions about her future husband like what his favorite food, his favorite songs and so on. For this someone before bridal shower has to visit the groom and ask such series of questions. Normally if the bride gives right answers of more than half questions she is awarded with a gift. As she deserves it!!
In the wedding shower ideas perhaps the most favorite game is toilet paper wedding dresses. In this game different teams are made it requires minimum 2 or maximum 5 individuals in each team. Team is provided with the dress up trunk as dress is made of toilet paper while you can accessories with hat, jewelry gloves etc. one of team member will be dressed up with all this in maximum 5 minutes. Bride will decide who has done a fine job and then accordingly prizes will be given. Prizes add more excitement in games.
Another funny and silly game is to ask the bride to pretend as if she is on her honeymoon getting ready for the wedding night and suddenly she had a power failure. She needs to dress up in complete darkness. Blindfold her complete and provide her a suitcase full of different accessories. Bride has do it all alone no guest will help her. Include funny items as kitchen gloves, over size flannel nightgowns, huge sunglasses to make it more interesting. Two minutes are enough for this providing her ample time to dress up. Someone should be ready with a camera to record this funny incident.
Furthermore there is a fun game for bridal shower guests. In this game all the purses of the guests are put in the center of a room. Then make a list of commonly found items in the purses and some rare things. Assign common things less marks such as comb 1, lipstick 2, and mirror while pen marks 5 points, sun glasses 5 points, staple remover 15 etc. Then one by one each purse is checked and the lady having maximum odd things or having maximum points will win this game. And the winner would certainly have a prize.
Next is the shower bingo game, before the shower bingo cards are created. The things you think the bride will get on her shower put their pictures in the squares. It may include stuff like towels, crystal jars, lingerie etc. With each gift that a bride opens people mark off the items on their cards. If all items are marked of one person she gets a bingo otherwise the person having maximum marks will get a bingo prize.
The next game is the clean version of popular game of bachelorette party which involves stripping. For 30 minutes bride leaves all the guests alone. Each guest is provided with a pen and a paper. They need to write everything they can recall about bride's dress, hair etc. Like color of her blouse, type of shoes she was wearing, no. of rings, jewelry color and etc. Once they are done bride walks in again and the guest having maximum correct things will be awarded with a prize.
