With only 2 moths till the big day right now is the busiest time in the preparation for your wedding.
First, book and confirm your entertainment. You should also finalized the guest list in coordination with the groom. Along with this goes the selection and ordering of the wedding invitations, announcements and thank you cards. After the cards are printed and ready, then you have the task of addressing each one, but don't mail them for about another month.
If you are having a destination wedding, it may be necessary for you to have a complete physical and blood test. This should be done at this point in your checklist.
You should select items to be placed on your bridal registry, finalize your honeymoon plans and buy gifts for your bridal party and attendants.
At this time you and the groom should shop for wedding rings and get the engraving ordered and have the rings resized if needed. Confirm the delivery date of the bridal gown, bridesmaids' and attendants' dresses. You should make arrangements to have bridal portraits taken. You will probably want to have the portraits taken after your ring is finished, so check with the jeweler on the date of completion.
As if this list of chores isn't enough, now is the time to shop for home furnishings as well. Later on, when moving into your new house together, you will be glad that you got this done so early.
Work quickly on this to-do list, as in another month you'll have a new list of chores. The next two months are going to be your busiest, so if you have a friend who would be willing to assist with all of these arrangements, now would be the perfect time to ask for help.
