Wedding Insurance - The Forgotten Coverage

When planning the day you always dreamed of there are many things that are not in your control. In this day and this economy it's wise to spend a little money to protect yourself from the many unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances that can ruin your wedding day.

While a wedding can run into the tens of thousands of dollars, it makes sense, for as little as $160, to insure your special day from all unseen situations. Would you buy a car or home for that amount of money and not insure them?

Below are just a few situations that would justify insurance of this kind:

- If you are planning a wedding located in another state or tropical setting you can purchase insurance for severe weather such as hurricanes, tornadoes etc.

- If there is a commercial transportation shutdown which prevents the bride, groom or their parents from getting their planned destination.

- If the bride or groom is in the military or National Guard and is called up to active duty forcing the postponement of the wedding.

For situations such as those listed above, and others, the bride or groom or their parents would receive reimbursement for, what might have been, non - recoverable expenses.

There is also the option for liquor liability which will give you protection from the many problems that may arise from someone who has had too much to drink.

Remember, although there are many things that are under your control, you can never foresee what tomorrow may bring. For more information call your licensed independent insurance agent to see how you can protect yourself and the day that you always dreamed.
