Creative wedding invitations are something that every bride can make a possibility for her wedding. The possibilities are almost endless on what can be done, limited only by your imagination. This is certainly more true for the modern bride than it was for past brides due to the incredible leaps we've had in technology. Computers and their programs are so up to date with what the typical business can do, that the same quality products can be made right at home.
For creative wedding invitations you can use pictures from your engagement photos or even any other quality photos you already have to make a compact disc for your guests. You can make a collage of pictures with you and special someone to run on the CD with information and details about your wedding day placed throughout the collage, or in between pictures. You will also want to have the information and details about the wedding date printed on the compact disc, or maybe even include a card along with the CD so that this information can be available without having to play the CD.
The main point of making creative wedding invitations with this method is the pictures themselves. Make sure you take some time to choose pictures that will represent the two of you in the way that you would like for your guests to know you. Show them something about your personalities that they might not already know about you. Remember the point is to be creative and give your guests something they will enjoy, and something you can be proud of.
These creative wedding invitations will be a collage that your guests will surely enjoy by seeing different sides of the two of you. The other benefit you get out of these is for those of your guests on opposites sides of the family. Many of these guests have never met one or the other of you in person, and maybe even don't know what you look like. Now they have pictures of you to make you more familiar. It will seem to them as if they almost know you when it comes to meeting you on your wedding day for the first time.
Another way to deliver these creative wedding invitations is to actually save the compact disc to your computer and email the file out as your invitations. I would suggest if you use this method, that you attach the file to an email, letting your guests know it is the invitation with the detailed information for your wedding day a part of the actual email, and not just the file to be downloaded. Be sure to use a nice font and take some time writing the email, just like you would a mailed invitation. Your guests can then easily reply to the email as their RSVP. Obviously you need to make sure you have everyone's email on your guest list to do this.
The other caution with this method is that many of your older guests like grandparents may not be very computer savvy. For these guests you might consider actually sending out the compact disc in the mail. Besides, many of these guests are a little more traditional and would prefer to get an actual invitation in the mail instead of an email. Most if not all of your younger guests will be fine with this method as it is a normal part of everyday life. But the choice on mail or email is completely up to you. When making your decision, give some thought to how the email may be received by the majority of your guests. It is your wedding day, but traditionally weddings are a more intimate type of affair than an email might portray.
