There are a few things that every wedding couple wants. Here I list my five favorites.
1. Funds - Brides and grooms now expect people to give them money as wedding gifts than material gifts as this will let them buy the things they need more. The young generation today are more comfortable with choosing things on their own so with the money you will give them, it will be easier for them to adjust as a couple planning together. Cash is a bit impersonal for you, but the newly weds will see this as a blessing coming from you on their special day. For couples who would like to receive cash gifts instead on their wedding the line "a gift in an envelope" can be written on the invitation. You may hide the cash envelope inside a bouquet of flowers as you present it to the bride and groom.
2. Something that they always wanted - Once you find out what's on the registry list, you will be amazed at how expensive the items are. If they are too expensive for you, you may want to find an alternative of the same item from other stores.
3. Make a reservation for two at a grand hotel of their choice - If the couple has already planned to leave the country after their wedding, you can just give them an open dated voucher so they can use the reservation anytime of the year. Ask the help of other friends if they wish to share in the reservation especially if the room is a bit expensive.
4. A thoughtful gifts that they know you are thinking of them - Try to get the bride and the groom a gift which will definitely be with them throughout their relationship." Look for some cheap but quality looking items from antique shops in your place.
5. Turn the honeymoon into something even more special - Ask some of your closest friends to help you plan a romantic honeymoon for the couple by upgrading their hotel reservation to a suite where ever their booking may be. If you know the couple is leaving the state or the country after their wedding day, why not prepare an extra set of lingerie items for the two which they can use on their trip.
